Career Choices

Going back to my first love – panel comics.

These were actual career mistakes choices that I made. You see, the other choice was a 2-year Fine Arts program which I thought was fine, except employment opps were pretty thin on the ground. What was I going to do, be a 9 to 5 sculptor?

The A in M program, on the other hand, had a bit more of a future to it. I did find work, and never in designing a shop window.

And it might have been 85%.

  1. I used to work with a rather obnoxious lawyer who asked me what my degree was in. “English Major? Did you want to become a professional menu writer? Ha ha…” it came in handy though when I had to proof read and edit his work……

    1. Ouch, the condescension is quite overwhelming! I am so done with people like that, who wear their accreditation and accomplishments like a badge.
